F.L.A.W.L.E.S.S. Flames of Fire Women’s Conference

November 2 & 3, 2019

To our heavenly Father, we are spotless, perfect, forgiven. We are exactly like Jesus.

There is no condemnation with God and in God for those who live after the Holy Spirit.  We have been made righteous just as Jesus was made sin. Think about that for a sec. Here is a good righteous man (Jesus) who had never sinned but got the bad and the ugly of everyone and the entire world thrown on him. And now, not only was he carrying the bad and the ugly/ sin, he was sin. He was made sin and all judgment came on him for all those sins.

You and I on the other hand, even in our best behavior days were already sinners by “default”. But when Jesus died for us on that Cross, we were made righteous, flawless and perfect just as He was made sin. We qualified to stand confidently before God without any conscience of sin.

Our minds can’t comprehend that truth because we are natural beings that operate mostly in the flesh and the natural realm. We can’t help but call things just as we see them because that’s just the way we are raised and taught, and even more, that’s just the way the world operates. You call a spade a spade. We look at our actions, shortcomings, imperfections and struggle to receive this truth from God. But like everything else in the Word, we must receive it by faith.

The truth is, God is a Spirit (that explains why He is invisible, and we can’t see Him with our natural eyes…right!?) and He deals with us, spirit to spirit. We are first spirits. We have been made perfect/ righteous/ “flawless” first in our spirits.

We have a body and possess a soul (our minds, intellectual, feeling, emotion area). When we gave our lives to Jesus Christ, it was our spirits that were made new and exactly like Jesus’.

Perfect!
