What We Believe

Consuming Fire Christian Center emphasizes an intimate and transformative relationship with Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit. Rooted in the events of the Day of Pentecost as recorded in Acts 2, We believe that the experiences of the early Church—including the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, speaking in tongues, and miraculous signs—are still available to believers today.

At the core of our beliefs is a passionate commitment to knowing and following Jesus Christ personally. Salvation is viewed not merely as a set of doctrines but as an invitation to a dynamic relationship with Christ, marked by repentance, faith, and a life transformed by His grace. Through the baptism in the Holy Spirit, believers are empowered to grow closer to Jesus, live boldly for Him, and serve others in His name.

We hold firmly to the authority of the Bible as God’s Word and believe in the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit in every believer’s life. This includes divine healing, spiritual gifts, and personal sanctification, all of which deepen one’s walk with Jesus and reflect His love and power to the world. Worship is central to our life in Christ, often characterized by heartfelt praise, fervent prayer, and an expectation of encountering Christ in a tangible way.

We emphasizes holy living and the mission to share the Gospel with the world, all while awaiting the promised return of Jesus Christ. It is a movement that invites everyone to experience the love of God and the life-changing reality of a close and personal relationship with His Son. Through this relationship, we find hope, purpose, and the power to live a life fully dedicated to Him.
